this song is both beautiful and haunting. i listened to it a lot during a time where i kind of needed that. it’s still a favorite, though.

oh, man, i hope i make it through the day today. i have so many readings about learning and memory it’s ridiculous. i’m LEARNING about learning and memory?

so, my fake grant got destroyed today.

and i got into an argument about it with a professor. pretty awesome, huh? well, it was more like mind-numbing.
i’m kind of afraid i won’t get far in science because i am too feminine.
also because i have poor speaking skills when i’m not making a presentation.

also because i need to develop a thicker skin so i don’t come home and eat a 400-calorie pack of chocolate.
it’s stupid when being upset ruins my figure!

i’m watching local news coverage of the oklahoma tornadoes. i’m streaming online in part because coverage from the weather channel is not worth one’s time.
the koco announcer, who recently moved to the city, was not used to the weather.
he said something like, i guess this is how it is in god’s country.
even though he technically called the rest of the US godless country, i appreciated the optimistic outlook.
